Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-10. This explains what First Rise (made by Found Ground Labs LLC) keeps about you and what it does with it.

What we keep

• Your account: your email, the name you give, and your password (stored only in a scrambled form we can't read).
• What you save in the app: favorite fields, notes, finds with their photos and spots, the letters you make, your letter details (the name, address and phone you put on them), and which owners you've written to.
• App reports: if you leave "Send app speed reports" on, how fast things load and any errors, with your phone's type, but no locations, fields or owners. If you use "Report a problem": what you write, a screenshot if you add one, and where you were in the app.
• Payments: handled by our payment processor; we never see or keep your card number.

Your location

Your phone's GPS position is used on your phone to show where you are, the distance to fields and the compass. It isn't kept on our server, except the spot of a find you choose to log.

What we do with it

Only to run the app for you: to show your things on your devices, make your letters, send you account emails (like confirming your email or setting a new password), and fix problems. We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of the app for us (web hosting on Amazon Web Services, file storage on Cloudflare, email delivery by Resend, payments by our payment processor), or when the law requires it.

Landowner information

The owner names and addresses in the app come from public county and state property records.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your things while you have an account. Email us to delete your account and everything in it; we'll do it within 30 days, and copies in backups are gone within 60.

Children

First Rise is for adults (18 and over); we don't knowingly keep information about children.
